“Die Kochmützen - Made in Germany” has been designed in the manner of a Landgasthaus – a classic German inn or tavern. We have closely followed the style of these inns to recreate the classic rustic style of a traditional Landgasthaus, offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Die Kochmützen literally means ‘the Chef’s hat’ – a name that is mirrored in the hats that act as lampshades throughout the bar.
Hans-Jürgen Voll is the creator of “Die Kochmützen- Made in Germany”, and also the resident Head Chef. A native of Hamburg, he has spent the past 8 years in China working with German restaurants throughout the country.”Die Kochmützen- Made in Germany” serves up classic staples best known under the term: “comfort food”. For beer lovers there are the famous Hofbräuhaus-Beer from the pint, fresh brewed lager and dark beer as well as German wheat beer and dark wheat beer for your choice!
